Do You Say Yes to THings that Are NO?

My Friends,

Do you remember the last time you said yes to something that should have been a no?

Here’s what that yes cost you:

  • Time to Relax: When you fill your schedule with tasks that don’t belong to you, you’re withdrawing from your bank of free time. This precious time could be used to relax and recharge.

  • Ability to Work on Passion Projects: A packed schedule leaves no room for the projects you’re truly passionate about. Those creative pursuits often get pushed aside when your calendar is overflowing.

  • Peace of Mind: Your brain can only perform at its best for so long. When it’s drained by other people’s tasks, you end up feeling overwhelmed and stressed.

So next time you’re feeling like there aren’t enough hours in the day, I want you to try this:

Pause and ask yourself these three things before you commit:

  1. Where in my schedule will I fit this in? Is there actual room for this new task?

  2. What will I need to give up? Are you sacrificing time you’d rather spend on something more meaningful?

  3. Will this add to my stress levels? How will taking this on affect your overall stress?

Remember, saying yes often means saying no to something else—whether it’s your relaxation, passion projects, or peace of mind.

My friends, I know it’s easier said than done, but I also know you’re tired of the overwhelm and want to put an end to the chaos.

Change has to start somewhere.

Let’s make that start today.

Warmly,
April
