Acupuncture: $75
Coaching: Book a consult
Herbal Medicine: Find the fee structure here
There are no additional fees for first time acupuncture or coaching appointments as I don’t want to put up barriers for people who are potentially hesitant about trying something new. I do participate with several insurance plans that cover acupuncture, as well as accept HSA cards. Please call the office to determine if your plan is accepted.

Simply put, a coach guides, encourages and supports you so that you can achieve your goals. Whether the goal is simply stopping your brain from racing so you can get a good night's sleep or starting your dream business, a coach can help.

A coach is not a replacement for a therapist given that a coach is not treating mental illness. What coaching can do is:
✦ Clarify goals and come up with a plan to reach them
✦ Identify and resolve what’s holding you back
✦ Promote personal growth
✦ Offer you support and accountability, because who doesn’t want a personal cheerleader on their side?
✦ Improve self-esteem by quieting negative self-talk.

The majority of patients will notice symptom reduction after their first treatment. That said, keep in mind that acupuncture is a process. In general, the more chronic or complex a problem is, the longer it takes to resolve. At your initial consultation we will discuss your full medical history, along with your goals to come up with a clear and defined treatment plan for you to follow.

Acupuncture is a complete system of medicine. Diagnosis of ailments and/or injuries is done by identifying patterns of disharmony in the body. A very good explanation of that is given here. Some acupuncturists are akin to your primary care doctor, seeing a wide variety of conditions, whereas others specialize in a few specific areas.
Having been in practice for close to twenty years I have a wide scope of clinical experience. The simplest way to know if acupuncture is for you is to set up a free consultation. That way I can answer any questions you may have that are specific to you and your goals.

Dry needling is acupuncture. On average an acupuncturist has over 1500 hours of training. This includes instruction in local “trigger” point therapy, frequently referred to as dry needling, as well as general body points located further away from the painful area. This combination ensures that you’re not only getting relief from pain, but that the base cause of the pain is being managed.

This is probably the most common question that is asked of an acupuncturist because let’s face it, most people aren’t big fans of needles. Sensations range from nothing at all to a mild pinch or prick. Very few would call it painful. Once the needles are inserted the majority of people feel a deep sense of relaxation throughout the body.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture. In New Hampshire acupuncturists are licensed by the Board of Registration in Medicine. Licensure is dependent not only on education but also the successful completion of an exam administered by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists.
