Do YoU Plan For The Worst?
That whole “plan for the worst, hope for the best” thing? Ya, that was me.
I thought it was helpful.
But here’s the problem with that. I spent all of my time in worst case scenario mode. It completely shut down my creative problem solving. And it actually caused more harm than good.
Want an example? I spent a LOT of my time in scarcity mode. I was in a constant panic that something terrible would happen and I wouldn’t have the money to deal with it. I saved every possible dime and guarded it like a dragon does gold (ya - I’m that much of a geek, my brain will always go to dragons).
I spent so much time worrying about the terrible what ifs that I didn’t have any brain power leftover for imagining the POSITIVE ones. Things like…
What if I could start a business?
What if I could take some time for myself?
What if I could afford a vacation?
Then one day I decided to do a thing - instead of picturing the worst case scenario I pictured the best case scenario.
And that my friends, changed everything.
If you’re tired of being stuck in the doomsday rut, set up a coaching consultation with me.
You’ll talk, I’ll listen. Then I’ll map out a solution for you.
Change can be that simple.
I promise.
