Winter Wellness: Embracing Your Superpower

Today we talk about willpower.

Remember a few weeks ago I told you how your Kidney is in charge of a whole bunch of stuff, including the power of your convictions?

It's because the Kidneys are connected with your Zhi, which translates to your willpower. Zhi is basically the inner fire that keeps your dreams and goals alive.

It stems back to the fact that each Season has an organ & emotion associated with it. In winter it's your Kidneys and fear. To put it simply, when your Kidney energy is strong, you will move through your day without fear. You'll feel confident in your decisions and won't second guess them.

You'll have a strong understanding of who you are and what your place is in the world. There will be the drive, determination and persistence in following your dreams.

It's essentially your superpower.

Which is why you want it to be in good working order. Which is what we will talk about next week. But, here's a sneak peak - it involves getting plenty of rest.

P.S. Acupuncture is your BFF when it comes to boosting your reserves. If you want a tune-up, now is a great time to schedule a session.
